Have been driving past this place for awhile and finally went inside to have dinner. Came on a Sat and it was pretty packed, outside and in. It was cozy inside and wait staff were very friendly. Dishes were a little pricey but it was delicious! We had calamari to start, salmon and steak. All really tasty but I have to say the steak was my absolute favorite, the way it was cooked, flavorful with sauce is reason enough to come back for more! To finish it off we had the cheesecake which was homemade! I'm not really a cheesecake fan but this one was well done and made me a fan. Hidden gem in Greenlawn!
RUVO Greenlawn a gem of a restaurant serving up great Italian cuisine and other great dishes. Baked Clams, Calamari and Crab Cakes all fresh. The Veal Chop was outstanding with a great Montepulciano. The portions were perfect so no room for dessert. But do top off your meal with an espresso and a little Sambuca. Great waiter and the opened up the restaurant to make it more enjoyable. Live music on Friday nights to add to your dining experience. Ciao for Now

Lovely restaurant, great service, delicious food!! Everything from the bread to drinks to the most delicious seafood pasta (and this is a favorite dish) to dessert was fantastic! Highly recommend.

I am very much a regular at Ruvo, Greenlawn. I just ordered food for delivery and this was the bread I received upon delivery. It was a $30 order. It's embarrassing just so t even bother sending it. If I ordered this meal in the restaurant would I be subjected to the same piece of bread? The quality of food isn't as it used to be and certainly they quantity is not the same either.
